Paul

Paul has been working for one of the high street banks for over five years and has just completed his Diploma in Financial Services.

During his time with the bank, Paul has primarily worked with personal customers, but he has recently been promoted to a more senior post which involves lending to small / medium-sized businesses.

Paul can now elect to do the Chartered Banker qualification, but as an alternative, he is initially thinking about choosing to study for the Diploma in Business & Corporate Banking. This is awarded upon the completion of the following subjects:

  • Retail Banking
  • Business Banking
  • Corporate Finance

He can see that this specialised Diploma fits in very nicely with his new role and will demonstrate to his new boss that he wants to learn as much as he can about his new job.

Not only that, but upon successful of this Diploma, Paul can go on and do the Chartered Banker qualification - as he already has three credits to his name by virtue of the Diploma, another eight passes will secure the top CIOBS qualification for him!
