Fellowship Fellowship is the highest status conferred by the Institute and is a measure of the contribution to the financial services industry by the holder. It may be granted to Members or Associates of at least 10 years standing, or to non-members who hold a University degree or equivalent professional qualification and have made a significant contribution to banking or the objectives of the Institute. Two existing Fellows are required to nominate and second prospective applications for Fellowship. The formal awarding of Fellowship takes place at the Institute's Annual Graduation Ceremony. The status earned through being a Fellow is recognised as one of the most prestigious in the banking and finance sector worldwide. All Institute Fellows are required to adhere to the standards and responsibilities contained in the Fellows' Charter. Fellows are expected to actively promote the Institute wherever and whenever the opportunity arises, to recruit and help to retain existing Institute members and to support the work of the Institute's network of District Centres. Fellowship nomination forms are available to download by clicking here. |
