Institute Events

The Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland organises a wide range of events each year, including:

• The Chartered Banker Conference
• The Annual Graduation Ceremony
• Introductory days and revision courses run by the CIOBS Academy
• The Deloitte Financial Services Rising Star Awards
• A variety of topical seminars and short courses staged by the Institute itself or in partnership with other organisations

Over the last few years the Institute has greatly increased the number and range of educational seminars and events that it runs. Continuing Professional Development is essential for any individual in the Financial Services industry who wishes to maintain their professionalism in a constantly changing environment.

Most of our events and seminars are open to both members and non-members of the Institute.
