Brief Introduction to IBSS2008

The 61th International Banking Summer School (IBSS) is a 10-day high quality, intensive educational programme, aimed at high potential officers in banking and financial services from across the globe. This year it will be held in Hong Kong, China , from 13th - 24th July.

Participants learn from a proven process of interacting with each other and with prominent executives and specialists from the world of banking, finance and academia. It provides an avenue for understanding the issues facing banking and finance through industry briefings / presentations and an opportunity to exchange ideas between participants thereby broadening their knowledge.

This year's IBSS will focus on the 'Next Wave and Beyond: The Blue Ocean of New Banking and Financial Services'. It will provide participants with and expose them to, a variety of key skills required to further develop a deeper understanding of the issues facing senior management.
