Hutton Prize for Professional Ethics
The Hutton Prize is a CPD competition in professional ethics. This event presents members with the opportunity to consider how they would respond to an ethical dilemma. The competition is open to all grades of members and is judged on the basis of a written response to a case study. The winner receives a gold medal.

William L Hutton, a Fellow of the Institute, has kindly donated the Hutton Prize. William completed the Institute examinations in 1957 and then left banking in 1964 to work in the Pharmaceutical Industry in Africa. He set up his own business consultancy in 1976 based in Kenya but practicing in various parts of the world. He is a qualified Certified Fraud Examiner of the US Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
